I know, it’s August and I’m JUST getting around to posting about taming the summertime frizzy hair that’s caused due to all the sweat, the humidity, the sun, the pollution and about a couple more factors.
Have you ever left your house with perfectly blow-dried or straightened hair and then had the sun rays beat down on your lovely tresses styled so beautifully? Or the back of your neck which causes sweat balls to appear and start messing with that mane you spent 45 minutes and 50 bucks on? It’s downright annoying for starters and then you end up looking like you just returned from a marathon run with your sweaty scalp.
Let’s focus on the positive side now – you can use a stronger setting spray to keep that hair style in place but you’ll need to do a lot more to avoid the frizzy mane season. Hopefully the below tips will help you lasses out there!
Invest in a good hair oil
I recommend the Gisou hair oil, which is pricey and a luxury item, but I think it works very well, much better than the drugstore silicone products.
Hair masks should be a weekly routine
Switch up your hair towel
Sulphate-free shampoo are your friends
Get your hair trimmed regularly
Don’t blow-dry your mane
Use heat protecting spray
