If you’re into K-beauty, it’s quite probable you’ve come across or heard about the Cosrx Triple C Lightening Liquid. If you haven’t, let me introduce you to this magical serum that has helped me greatly in achieving the skin I have today. I don’t have any before and after photographs as I wasn’t into blogging when I started using this but the results are downright amazing.
I purchased this from Soko Glam (watch out though, you’ll have to pay taxes and shipping if you’re outside the US, and that can be quite expensive)
Claims: Reduces pigmentation – whether it’s acne or brown scars, brings back radiance and balance to the skin.
20.5% pure Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid)
72% black chokeberry which helps stabilise the high concentration of Vitamin C
Free from fragrances
I was quite optimistic about trying out the Cosrx Triple C Lightning Liquid. This was one of my first K-Beauty purchases when my interest in these products was at its peak. Having suffered from cystic acne for years, I had tried everything under the sun, but nothing worked the way I’d hoped for it to. I had high expectations with this serum and it delivered on those promises.
I could see improvements overnight – no exaggerations! My skin looked brighter, less dull, and my dark spots started fading away. It was a miracle worker and I didn’t hesitate even for a minute before purchasing my next bottle. I’m beyond amazed at what this has done for my skin.
It tingles slightly when you put it on the first time and if you’ve been heavy on the exfoliation recently, avoid using this. You can know more about skincare combinations to avoid by clicking here.
I used this regularly with the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask, which is supposed to reinforce the effects of Vitamin C. The mask also contains niacinamide, which is a key ingredient in the improvement of acne scarring. The combination together was heavenly and I used them both together about 90% of the time.
Would I recommend this to my friends?
100% yes. It’s a great win-win given that’s it’s only 27$ (a lot more expensive for me, but still worth it). I would highly recommend this to people suffering from pigmentation, whether it’s acne scars, melasma, brown spots, give this a try! This is one of my ride or die products that I will continue restocking for a very long time.
